Partner policy

Simple rules for earning, links, payouts, and account safety.

Partner dashboard

This applies to anyone with an active ModuleTutor partner account.

How you earn

  • You earn 30% of ModuleTutor's platform revenue from completed, paid, non-refunded bookings made by people you referred.
  • Each referred tutor or student has their own 3-month earning window, starting from when they sign up.
  • If a booking's tutor and student were both referred by partners, the 30% pool is split evenly between them - unless the same partner referred both, in which case that partner gets the full pool.

Your referral link

  • You can personalise your link (e.g. moduletutor.co.za/partner/yourname) from your dashboard, as long as it is not already taken.
  • One link works for everyone - whoever clicks it chooses tutor or student for themselves when they sign up.
  • Do not impersonate ModuleTutor, misrepresent the offer, or use misleading claims to get signups.

Payouts

  • Payouts are processed manually by an admin once your payable balance reaches R100.
  • Earnings are calculated automatically when a referred booking is completed and paid - never on signups alone.
  • Refunded, cancelled, disputed, or test bookings do not generate payable earnings.

Account standing

  • You do not need approval to start - your account and referral link are active as soon as you sign up.
  • Admins can disable a partner account for fraud, fake signups, spam, or misuse of the program.
  • Self-referrals do not count, and referral attribution cannot be changed once a referred user signs up.
