ModuleTutor collects only the information needed to help students find tutors, book sessions, ask controlled questions, process payments, and handle support.

What we collect

  • Account details like your name, email, phone number, role, profile photo, and tutor profile information.
  • Booking details like tutor, student, module, date, time, notes, attendance, reviews, issues, and payout status.
  • Question details between students and tutors, including edits and reply status.

Payments and refunds

  • Payments are handled through Paystack. We store the payment reference, amount, booking fee, refund status, and safe payment or refund summaries needed for support and audit records.
  • We do not store card numbers or banking card details in the app.

SMS and support

  • We may use your phone number for important booking, question, and session notices.
  • Support and admin users may view booking, question, payment, refund, and profile details when needed to resolve issues or keep the platform safe.

Storage and requests

  • App data is stored with Firebase services and related platform tools used to run ModuleTutor.
  • You can ask us to update, export, or delete your account information where legally and operationally possible.
